Snaplog and Daily Mugshot
I just bought myself an iPhone (because I’m addicted to tech), and I’ve been downloading apps every night. I’m hooked on the productivity tools, like Remember the Milk and Box (perfect for my design work), but tonight I discovered GAMES! FREE GAMES! I downloaded Tap Tap Revenge, which is like Guitar Hero for the iPhone. I also got Sudoku. I like numbers.
And you know what else I found? PHOTO APPS!
I found the Snaplog app, which is basically an easy way to blog photos taken from the iPhone camera. It’s silly, but I still wanted to try it out. Above is pic I took from my iMac and uploaded to my Snaplog account, which you can view at thinklia.snaplog.com. I’m going to give it a shot. Currently, I use Twitpic for my Twitter photos, and I can also use ShoZu to upload images to Flickr, but Snaplog seems like a cool way to showcase iPhone pics.
Oh, and a few days ago, I downloaded the Daily Mugshot app. You take a photo of yourself and post it online. And you can watch a slideshow of your daily photo. Some people have hundreds of mugs, and the slideshows are so interesting to watch. I only have six mugshots as of today, but I hope I can keep it up (see below!).
So, in addition to being really busy at home and work (this week: hardwood floors and a promotion), I’ve been playing with my iPhone a whole lot! Maybe too much…
Oh, and I downloaded an app called Mini Piano. It rocks my world. I already learned how to play Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” during my lunchbreak last week. (Check out this video of Evanescence’s “My Immortal” intro on the Mini Piano!)
