After months of waiting and cursing the nasty East Tennessee weather, Knoxville was finally blessed with a gorgeous weekend with highs in the upper 50s and clear, sunny skies. Thanks to the nice change in weather, I was able to schedule my flight lesson at the Knoxville Flight Training Center today!

It’s amazing what not having television will do. Brandon and I haven’t watched proper TV programming since September 2009, when we canceled our cable service from the most awful cable provider ever. So when we’re in the mood to watch a sitcom, we either stream old shows from Netflix or Hulu.
I recently discovered “Arrested Development” [...]
Cool Infographics featured this great poster showing the amount of caffeine in coffee and other drinks. I sometimes I binge on Rockstar Juiced thinking that it’s so loaded with caffeine; but, unfortunately, I realized that it is only moderately caffeinated in comparison to Jolt and a tall Starbucks coffee.

I am homesick… for New York. As soon as I boarded the plane back to Knoxville, my chest felt tight and heavy — and I’m sure my heart broke just a little bit.
I love hustle and bustle, crowds, sidewalks, neon lights, street food, and public transportation. Swiping the MetroCard is thrilling. I like ethnic neighborhoods, [...]
I have a lot to look forward to this year. In addition to the usual resolutions (to get healthier and wealthier), I have a couple of major life projects that I’m beginning in 2010. (Note: Project completion dates will most likely depend on the size of my wallet. Fatter = Faster.)
Project “I Will Blog”
I’m forcing [...]
Welcome to the New Year and all of the resolutions that come with it. I have so many goals for 2010, but I know that the best way to achieve any of those goals is to take it one day at a time.
In searching for some free online goal-tracking services, I found Daytum, a site [...]
