Saturday, June 21, 2008 was designated as the day for this year’s “A Day in the Life of…” (DILO for short) photos on Flickr. And I missed it.

Brandon and I helped with Knoxville’s Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association yesterday. We had several friends that were riding in the event, and we decided to do our part and volunteer to assist with setup and rider registration. And that meant waking up at 4 a.m. on Saturday (painful!).

Punxsutawney Phil said that we would have six more weeks left of winter. Humbug. Today felt like spring. Even the showers reminded me of April. In fact, it was so warm (mid to upper 60s) that I pulled out my pair of red flats and wore them.
