“Monte Carlo Fun House” Wins at Dogwood Arts Fine Arts Show

My processed photo glazed on wood won an award at the Dogwood Arts Fine Arts Show. I got a juror citation! One of four winners out of more than 300+ entries from regional artists? Not bad, huh?

I was recently contacted by Heidi Bedore of Happy Worker Inc. (”a proud member of the Toy Industry Association and the Canadian Toy Association”) to request permission to use one of my photographs for their online magazine. Happy Worker is my kind of company.

“Hotel Choiseul” in Schamp Guides

A few weeks, I was contacted by Emma Williams, managing editor of Schmap Guides (online dynamic travel guides), who let me know that my photograph of Hotel Choiseul had been shortlisted by Schmap to go into the Nice guide.

I’ve just released a photography coffee table book with images from my most recent trip to Nice, Paris, and Monte Carlo. The photos were taken during the week of November 3-10, and the book is simply a record of the people and places that I visited.

I joined a new Flickr group at the end of December. The group is called “Project 365,” and it challenges me to take one photograph everyday. And let me tell you, a photo a day is really challenging. Even if you’re a photographer.
